"Thinker"

Steel and reclaimed machine parts | 2015

A seated, robot-like figure that reflects on the nature of thought in a mechanical age. With its bowed head and resting posture, it nods to Rodin’s iconic sculpture, reimagined through a lens of industry and automation.

At 1.2 meters tall, the sculpture balances stillness with tension, its exposed joints and worn surfaces hinting at a past life in motion.

"The Thinker" (Tänkaren) has been exhibited in multiple contexts and used as a prop in films

and on music album covers.

A figure of quiet contemplation, it invites viewers to pause and imagine what machines might dream about.
