"Raptor"

2013

"Raptor" is a dynamic, dinosaur-inspired sculpture, a mechanical beast that feels both ancient and futuristic. Built entirely from welded steel and reclaimed machine parts, it appears caught mid-stride: alert, alive, and full of motion.

While rooted in prehistoric form, Raptor hints at a hybrid origin, part animal, part machine. Its sharp silhouettes and tactile surfaces invite exploration, sparking curiosity in both children and adults.

Exhibited in the historic castle garden at Visingsö, Raptor stood in striking contrast to the natural surroundings—like a fragment from another time, or another world.
